GYPSY HEIGHTS 1993 Black 16hh TB
Gypsy is our latest addition to the stud. We were after a nice TB mare to breed event horses, but as you can see from the pedigree, it doesn't get much better if you actually wanted to breed a racehorse! Her great grandsire is the great Mill Reef who decimated his opponents on the track and became the first horse to win the Derby, King George VI and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. His son Shirley Heights is just as incomparable, a European Champion and Epsom/Irish Derby winner. Golden Heights himself is also a winner on the track, and his 1st, 2nd and 3rd dams are all winners and themselves produced winners. Her dam Gypsy's Barn Rat is bred from Group winners on both sides of her pedigree. Gypsy is stunning to look at, has wonderful movement and a great temperament. We think her first foal will be bred for the track, but we are sure that she will breed whatever type we want in the future, and is a good addition to our stud. Watch this space, you may see a Whitegate bred horse storming around Epsom soon! |
