Luidam was purchased in 2002 by Sue Davies from John Popeley to strengthen
Billy’s team and is widely acknowledged as having European and Olympic
Championship potential, which he has since confirmed, with his inclusion on the
Olympic Short list for Athens in 2004.

The sire, Guidam, has won many Grand Prix tests and is a son of Quidam de Revel,
a stallion who is popular with practically all European breeds: with Hervé
Godignon (France), he won the team bronze medal in Barcelona, following which he
won many Grand Prix with Charlotte and Thomas Velin (Denmark).
Eljenohve is a pref elite mare in the KWPN Stud Book. Her sire Akteur sired the
international show jumping full brothers Tepic La Silla winner of a bronze medal
at the 2003 european championships and Shurlands Governor, whilst through Lucky
Boy XX she is closely related to such top performers as The Freak, Titan and
Brown Boy who were all top level show jumping horses
Luidam is stallion who possesses excellent temperament and ability along with
fantastic looks and conformation. With Billy Luidam has been one of the most
consistent performers on the European circuit representing the Irish team on
many occasions. Luidam now has proven progeny now performing at age class level.
