SUNRISE LADY 16.2HH 1989 Chestnut Warmblood
Foundation Brood Mare Sunrise Lady is graded with SHB(GB). She was imported as a youngster from Belgium by Fred Welsh to showjump. Sadly we do not know her breeding details hence no pedigree table! We bought her in 1995 as a showjumper having seen her merely trot down to a four foot fence with a total stranger on board and clear it by miles! Her jumping ability is incredible and she has passed this on to her offspring. She took to being a mum like a duck to water and has produced outstanding youngsters by Gemsbok, Canworthy Monsun, Louella Inschallah II and Lord David S. We sold all but the last, and all are doing well. However, her first daughter was offered for sale in 2004 and we bought her back. So we have retained two of her daughters to continue the line, Vale Royal Moonstone Abigail and Vale Royal Lady Davina. Sunrise Lady is now enjoying her retirement with Sunset Mirage, and sharing nannying duties.
