TRENAWIN LOUISA Bay 1997 16.2hh British Warmblood Landgraf/Ladykiller both sides of pedigree
Louisa was purchased in 2004 on the strength of her superb warmblood lines. Her maternal great grandsire Landgraf is one of the most successful sires in warmblood breeding Europe has ever seen. He excels as a jumping sire, with many champion offspring but also does extremely well in siring dressage horses. He has sixty sons licensed on the Holstein stud book. He is a son of the influential TB Ladykiller, who is also Louisa's great grandsire on her sire line. Ladykiller blood is to be found in the best WB horses throughout Europe. Her sire, Lenard, is graded in three countries (Germany, Denmark and GB) and his offspring have great athletic movement. His sire Ladalco was an International Eventer who was a World Champion bronze medallist at Los Angeles. Louisa produced a foal in 2005 by the great showjumper Luidam, and so outstanding is this foal, that Lou will produce a full brother or sister in 2006. |
